ABOUT ME
My interest in behavioural science began in 2015. While studying for my Masters in Management Science (Decision Sciences) at the London School of Economics, I was introduced to some exciting work being done by the Behavioural Insights Team. A short internship with them in His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) convinced me of the many opportunities where I could leverage on behavioural insights to protect and improve public welfare.
After my Masters, I was offered a competitive research grant (£20,000) by the UK Consumer Rights Association and awarded a PhD scholarship by Warwick Business School. A focal part of my PhD research was on shared decision making, in which I investigated the role of emotions in doctor-patient communication. My research was awarded the Best International Paper at the Academy of Management Conference and feaured in a public policy campaign to improve the quality of health and social care.
After my PhD, I was determined to apply my expertise in behavioural science to benefit society. I joined NUS Care Unit (NCU) where I focused on incivility, sexual harassment, and bystander intervention in organizations. I contributed to organizational culture change by leading climate surveys that helped management identify critical gaps and by initiating awareness campaigns to dispel misconceptions about sexual misconduct. I have always sought to embed behavioural insights in my initiatives to make them more effective.

PRESENT DAY
In June 2024, I joined the Centre for Behavioural and Implementations Science Interventions (BISI) as a Senior Research Fellow. I apply behavioural insights to improve public health outcomes and foster healthier, more supportive workplace cultures in hospitals. My work bridges research and practice, using evidence-based strategies to address systemic challenges (e.g., poor uptake, adherence, scaling) in healthcare settings. I am excited about applying behavioural science to policies and interventions that promote staff well-being, patient safety, and public health outcomes.
